Road To Alabama: Myra Gordon

2020 4 star Alabama Signee Myra Gordon has been a household name for along time. I caught up with her to see her process as her senior season is coming to an end and also to see how she's preparing for college in just a few months.

Why Alabama ?

Gordon: Their coaching staff always showed me love, and I want to be that player who can come in and help turn a program around. I really like the family environment with the players, and I feel I can really prove myself and play early.

What are some improvements you need before you step on campus

Gordon: I really need to improve on my conditioning and speed, also I need to work on managing my time better so that I can be ready for those two a days and early morning workouts.

Adrian Mercado: Gordon's Trainer/Mentor

Adrian Mercado is a coach, trainer, and a mentor. He has been training Gordon for years and has seen her grow into the player she is today. I talked to him about Gordon's game and about how much she has developed into the player she is today.

What is one thing that stands out about Myra's Game

Mercado: Her efficiency and IQ she understands the game so well and can score a lot of points in so little shots. She's so good at understanding what the defense is throwing at her and reacting and making a play, its crazy!

Gordon's Senior Year

Gordon's senior season is coming to an end, and I talked to her about what her goals for the rest of her senior season are and what she will always remember as an L.D. Bell Raider.

Your senior season is coming to an end, what is your goal for the rest of the season

Gordon: I want to make a state run, it's my last year and I want to show that my team is the best and winning a state title will prove that.

What is one thing you will always remember from your career at L.D. Bell

Gordon: One thing I will always remember is the coach and player bond that my two coaches and I have built. They trust me as a leader and player and I will always have a bond with them that will last a lifetime.

Myra Gordon remember the name there's a bright future ahead of the future Alabama Crimson Tide Basketball Player.
