Every year there is always a breakout star or a player who finally puts the pieces together and takes off. Passthaball's OK Next 100 Middle School Showcase had players with this type of potential. Here are my 7 players who stood out amongst all the great talent.
2026 G Kyiah Prestridge: BTR
Standing at 6'0 Prestridge is very difficult to contain she makes plays on and off the ball. She hit a lot of trailing 3's as well as ran her team and filled up all areas of the stat sheet this weekend. The biggest thing about her game is her basketball IQ. Only in 8th grade and already knows the game really well. KYIAH PRESTRIDGE is going to be the next best thing to come out of Oklahoma.
2029 PG Brooklyn Henderson: Krush Queens
Henderson is a player that can shine wherever she plays at. Skilled in most aspects of the game. She showed the ability to score on three levels and dominated her peers. Only in the 5th grade yet so eye catching. Henderson is a player that gives the future hope.
2028 PG Karsyn Ellison: Oklahoma Aces
Ellison is a player who you would love to have on your team. Grit, Hustler and competitor are a few things to describe her game. Standing at 4'11 Ellison used her floater and midrange jumper to effect the game scoring in volumes to lead her team to victories.
2028 G Paislee Carter: Krush Queens
Paislee Carter is a lead guard that showed the ability to make plays from any role she was put in. She show cased a lot of buckets from the outside. As well as dominating the glass. Carter is what I like to call a winner.
2027 G Zoey Franklin
Franklin is a scoring guard who is very efficient. While dominating the 1 on 1 drill Franklin went for seven baskets straight before missing her first bucket. Threes, mid range jumpers and lay ups. This Kanas native is one to lookout for.
2029 PG Justice Woods: OKC Lions
Woods is a long and lanky PG who can shoot it. She understands her spots and how to get her shots off. Standing at 5'5 Woods is bigger guard and she used her length to make a lot of plays off the ball. Woods has the potential to one of the best players in the region in the next few years.
2026 G Alexis Leyva: Banshees
Alexis Leyva is a player that knows how to play the game. As a long and lanky playmaker Leyva finishes well with both hands around the rim. She mostly hit catch and shoot jumpers from the outside but made so many plays as well. Leyva is a going to a high-level guard in the next few years to come.
Players to watch : Aliyah Prestridge, Kashlynn Cooper, Ava Watkins
