I-35 Showcase (Oklahoma) Standouts

I-35 showcase is one of the best new unsigned exposure showcases in the region. This past weekend in Oklahoma I saw a lot of great players but there were only 7 who stood out to me amongst all.

Jayda Holiman:

Holiman is a 5'7 2023 G who scores from all three levels. She showed multiple finishes around the rim as well as a solid catch and shoot game. She shines most in the open court but also showed a solid Pick N Roll game as she got to her Pull-Up Jumper. Only a sophomore she has the potential to be a high major player.

Maraia Taylor:

Maraia Taylor is a floor general. The 2022 5'5 Pg shined best out of the pick n roll finding her bigs on the roll and her shooters in the corners. Taylor has a nice change of pace in the half court set. She has a chance to be a good PG for a NAIA,D3, and D2 program in the near future.

Blesseth Dillingham:

Blesseth Dillingham is a natural born leader. The5'2 2021 Pg played well both offensively and defensively. She made most of her plays in the open court getting to the free-throw line as well as finishing at the rim. She picks up her opponents 94 feet and picks the passing lanes extremely well. She is a High-Low Major D2 and Low Major D1 player.

Natalya Jones:

Natalya Jones is a 5'11 G with long arms. The 2021 G is a very good defender with her long wingspan she makes it hard for her opponents to get their shots off. Jones got to the free throw line pretty well and also showed a nice inside game by posting up smaller guards and hitting short jumpers. She does all the little things takes charges talks on defense. She is a solid D2 player.

Taleyah Jones:

Taleyah Jones is a pure competitor. Jones is a 5'10 Lanky 2022 G who can get to the rim. She was the go to girl for her team, scoring a lot out of the Pick N Roll and getting out on the break. Defensively she she made a lot plays getting multiple on-ball steals and deflections. She was my favorite player to watch at the event. She is potentially a solid Low-High Major D1 player.

Jaylin Raveles:

Raveles is a 5'9 2021 G who can shoot it at a high level. She shined in the 1v1,2v2, and 3v3 drills hitting three after three. She can get hot quickly. In the right system she can be a perimeter threat for a team at the next level. She is a D3-D2 player and in the right system can be a low major D1 player.

Jordyn Turner:

Jordyn Turner is a 6'2 2021 F who is versatile. Turner did well in the half-court setting, made a lot of plays posting up smaller players and finishing over defenders off Pick N Roll switches. She showed a nice catch and shoot hitting trailing 3's on the fast break. Turner is a High D2 and Low-Mid D1 player.
