Coached by Rich Anderson Texas U has quickly became a household name. They are a gritty young group that is very talented lead by Iyana Dorsey and Jerkaila Jordan who are two players that can playoff of each other and get others going. Now, with the addition of Adhel Tac it gives them a new look a hybrid type of player that can provide a low post impact and can play on the perimeter. Aaliyah Morgan (TCU Commit) one of Texas u biggest pieces down low she has a big frame and very aggressive standing at 6-1 with very soft touch around the rim. Trinity White a player who can score at all three levels while only being a sophomore, driving opportunities open up for her because of her ability to shoot the three ball so efficiently and effectively. Jayla Brooks a quick savvy defensive player that excels in transition she is the glue piece of the team all teams need a player like Miss Brooks. Logyn McNeil brings some finesse and grit down low for the team she is a very skilled passer for her size and it shows when they run high low sets through her in the half court. Texas U also has a diaper dandy in Grace Abercrombie a 2021 sharpshooter who can get hot in a hurry. Along with Grace They also have another sniper in Ashely Faux what makes Ashely stand out is that she is 6ft and versatile because she can either shoot over you or take you down low. Nina Milliner a quick stocky guard is a true floor general with a tight handle, because of Nina size and strength she is able to get into the body of opposing defenders to get to her spots and create for others. Tyler Jackson another one of Texas U deadly snippers is a new addition to the team she brings another deep range threat to the team.Lastly Jaden Peralta almost missed my eye, but she is a sleeper in the 2020 Class she adds some length to the team with her long arms that make her very effective in the passing lanes.With all these pieces put together and along side the Coaching tandem of Coach Rich, Coach Bert, and Coach White Texas U will be making a lot of noise in July.
